Neon Forge builds the word out of two mismatched halves. A cyan layer and a magenta layer arrive from opposite sides, drift over each other, and converge until they lock into a single solid form over a fading grid.
Two offset copies of the glyph animate on convergeCyan and convergeMagenta toward a shared centre, with solidify cross-fading to the merged form at the moment they meet. The grid behind runs its own gridFade, and a feGaussianBlur/feMerge pair keeps both coloured layers glowing while they are still separated.
Related but opposite in direction. Aberration tears a finished word apart and snaps it back; Neon Forge starts with two separate halves and assembles them.
