Most glitter text online is a pre-rendered GIF texture tiled behind a font — which is why the letters are fixed in size, the edges are ragged, and the file gets huge. This one builds the glitter as vector graphics instead.
The shimmer comes from a noise field thresholded down to a sparse scatter of bright specks, masked to the shape of your letters. Three of those fields, each with a different seed, swap in and out three times a second. That is the same trick a hand-made glitter GIF uses — real ones are three-frame loops — except here it is resolution independent, so the same file is sharp on a phone and on a poster.
Because it is all vector, the SVG export is a few kilobytes and scales to any size without going soft.
Gold and rose gold are the safest choices on a dark background and the ones most people want for invitations, birthday posts and titles. Silver and diamond are deliberately not pure white at the brightest point — white specks on a white fill are invisible, so those palettes sit at a light grey with white flecks, which is what real silver glitter looks like anyway.
Rainbow and holographic shift colour across the word rather than down it, which reads better on longer text. Hot pink, ruby and unicorn are the strongest choices for social posts, where the image is competing with everything else in a feed.
If the glitter looks like flat colour, raise Glitter density — the specks fade out fast below about a third of the slider. If it looks noisy, raise Glitter size instead: fewer, larger grains read as glitter, while very fine grains read as texture or as compression noise once exported.
For a still image, export PNG and the animation is frozen on a defined frame rather than wherever it happened to be. For video, four seconds is enough for two full shimmer cycles, which is what makes a loop feel deliberate rather than clipped.

Yes. Tick “Transparent background” before you export. PNG and WebM both keep the alpha channel, so the letters and sparkles drop straight onto whatever is behind them. GIF supports only a single transparent colour, and MP4 has no alpha at all, so pick PNG or WebM if you need a clean cut-out.
Classic packs the glitter inside the letters. Outline adds a bright edge around them. Glitter Fall rains dust down the frame. Burst throws larger sparkles outward. GIF is limited to 256 colours, so a fine gold gradient with thousands of white specks gets quantised and can band. For the closest match to the preview, export MP4 or WebM. If you need GIF specifically, increasing glitter size and reducing glitter density gives the palette fewer distinct shades to fit.
