Holographic Foil is the iridescent sticker look: pastel cyan, lilac, pink and mint sliding sideways across the letters in a continuous loop, with glitter underneath. Unlike the rest of the family the colour itself moves, which is what separates foil from glitter.
Want to change the colour, sparkle shape or glitter grain? Open the Glitter Text Generator — 16 palettes, 7 sparkle shapes and 8 sliders, all built on this same animation.
The fill rect is twice the canvas width with the palette repeated end to end, translated by minus fifty percent on a linear loop. Because it is masked to the letters, the gradient appears to slide through them while the word stays still — and because the loop lands exactly on a repeat of the palette, it is seamless with no visible reset.
The letters are a mask, not a fill. What moves is a wide gradient rect behind them, so the word holds position while the colour passes through it.
Yes. The gradient repeats the palette twice and the animation travels exactly one repeat, so the end frame is identical to the first.
