The pour is a mask: mr-fill slides a white rectangle up through the mr-pour mask, revealing a bottom-to-top mr-molten gradient through the letterforms. The carve underneath is three offset copies of the text — a light edge above, a dark edge below — which is a bevel for the cost of two extra nodes rather than a lighting filter. Embers ride mr-ember on seeded drifts; the heat shimmer is five slow translucent ellipses, not turbulence.
